Now accepting applications for a 6 month, 125 hour Certified Reflexologist Apprenticeship Program for a limited number of individuals to study directly with Heidi Jae Mireles NBCR. Beginning 11/13/26.

Who this course is designed for:

Anyone with a desire to learn foot reflexology with a goal of integrating it into a professional practice in the state of Idaho.  No prior education or experience in Massage Therapy or other Health professions required. 

 

This program will include in-depth study of

  • Human Anatomy, Physiology & the intersection of Reflexology
  • The body’s systems and their interconnectedness.
  • Palpating boney landmarks and exploring tissue texture.
  • Client intake + SOAP note charting with medical terminology.
  • Reflexology’s Energetic and Anatomical differences and their over-lap. 
  • Hands-on practice, feedback, and receiving reflexology.
  • Professional development and business exploration.

 

This program will require

  • One weekend per month of hybrid study, as follows:
    • Friday Zoom 6pm-8pm
    • Saturday Hybrid*: 9:00-4:00pm (30min lunch)
    • Sunday Hands-On: 9:00-4:00pm (30 min lunch)
  • Minimum of 2 hours per month in self-study homework. 
  • 30 hours of clinical practice hours.
    • 15 hours of supervised clinical hours for Community Care for Ground & Glow Boise
    • 15 hours of unsupervised practical sessions, clients chosen by apprentice, chart notes graded.
  • 3 hours of exploring various healing modalities for self-care + writing assignment with each.

*Sometimes on Zoom, sometimes in-person.

Apprenticeship Fees & agreements:

  1. Submission of the apprenticeship application does not secure an apprentice role. All submissions will be considered and notified if chosen based on the order they are received.
  2. Fee for apprenticeship program does not include cost for educational materials such as books or other tools for education. Fee strictly covers the time, energy, and intellectual property given by Heidi J. Mireles. 
  3. APPRENTICESHIP OFFERS: will be given to first-selected, but are not official until secured with signed contract agreement and deposit or apprenticeship fees paid in full. 
  4. “On deck” apprenticeship communication will be made to those with applications submitted and are next in line within 2-4 weeks of program starting in case of last minute openings. If “on deck” candidates are no longer interested, we appreciate being informed so that we may let anyone else know of the potential that they could be offered open spot. 
  5. TO SECURE AN APPROVED APPRENTICESHIP SPOT: a signed financial contract with deposit of $433 is required. If the contract is not signed and the deposit is not paid, or suitable arrangements made, within 2 weeks of the offer the apprenticeship opportunity will be revoked. 
  6. DEPOSIT REFUNDS: Apprenticeship deposits are partially refundable with a written request before 10/01/26, for the amount of $333. $100 will be retained to cover time, energy, and preparation involved this program. If a written request is received between 10/01/26-10/13/26 a partial refund of $233 will be given, with $200 retained to cover time, energy, and preparation involved in program. If a written request is received between 10/13/26-10/31/26 a partial refund of $133 will be given, with $300 retained to cover time, energy, and preparation involved in program. Written requests submitted 11/01/26 or after will not receive a refund, but can be used towards future certification programs if/when available. 
  7. PAYMENT PLANS: will be contractually scheduled as follows with a card on file for each installment. Unless, a payment is received prior to the scheduled date of payment.
    1. $433 deposit + signed contract to secure spot.
    2. First payment of $433.50 paid 2 months after program start date: 01/13/27.
    3. Final payment of $433.50 paid 2 months following first payment on 03/13/27.
    4. Financial contractual agreement will have specific information listed for late payment fees + interest if payment is not received in full, on time.
  8. NO SHOWS/EARLY WITHDRAWAL: If a secured apprentice no-shows or withdrawals from the program after its start date, for any reason, they will remain legally bound to the financial contract and responsible for the full program cost of $1,300 with payment plans remaining as scheduled. 
  9. MISSED CLASS(ES): Attendance is required for program completion. With extenuating circumstances, missing up to 4 classes is allowed with scheduling re-take of class(es) required at a $20/hour fee. Depending on the situation and need, waiving or lowering the fee may be given as an option.
  10. Heidi J. Mireles and Ground & Glow Boise is not, and will not be, held liable for any apprentice's performance, ability, business activities or performance at any time during or after their Certified Reflexologist Apprenticeship training period.

 

Apprentice Rights:

  1. Each apprentice will have access to direct communication with Heidi J. Mireles for questions, guidance, and feedback as needed. 
  2. Each apprentice’s learning styles will be honored to the best of Heidi’s ability.
  3. Each apprentice will have the opportunity to provide anonymous feedback periodically through the program, to support success for all involved.
  4. Each apprentice will receive the required reading book list after securing apprenticeship, along with optional educational materials. 
  5. Each apprentice will receive the opportunity to receive Student Membership with the Reflexology Association of America for $25 to receive additional resources and support.
  6. Each apprentice will have the opportunity to have direct communication with Heidi after the completion of the program to support business practices, with the apprentice’s business results not dependent of Heidi’s individual advice or performance. 
  7. If desired, each apprentice will have the option to obtain an additional 75 contact hours of education, costing an additional $700, to meet the National Board Certification requirements of the American Reflexology Certification Board. (www.arcb.net) // If the apprentice has studied reflexology in other contexts, those hours can count towards 200 hour testing minimum with a written transcript. In this case, apprentices would retain the option to receive additional hours of education needed to reach 200 hour minimum, at the cost of $9.33/hr.
