My name is Heidi J. Mireles, but most know me as Heidi Jae. I was blessed to be born and raised in Boise, Idaho to an extended family of cattle ranchers and cowboys. Growing up on the backs of horses is how I first discovered the power of presence and touch to communicate care and calm another being. As a teenager I began bartering my talent of touch and massage gifts with my siblings to get out of early morning chores or earn a bit of cash.

Point of my story is this: ​

This is my calling, not just my profession.

For the past 22 years I have been a professional massage therapist and reiki practitioner applying and studying foot reflexology. In 2022, I became a Nationally Board Certified Reflexologist with the American Reflexology Certification Board. I am also a Reiki Master Teacher of 15 years, and a Certified Yoga Instructor of 18 years.

I started worked in spa settings, shifted into Medical Massage for Boise State University’s Wellness program, then operated my own private practice for 14 years before wrapping it up with Covid-19 in 2020 to prioritize my family and full-time employment with St. Luke’s Cancer Institute’s Integrative Medicine program.

At that time, I also had the amazing opportunity to develop a Reflexology Pilot Program within the Chemotherapy Infusion Clinic in Boise, Idaho. Later this program was implemented within Infusion Clinics in Meridian, Nampa, Fruitland and Twin Falls. I am currently working with St. Luke’s while I shift into operating a business again to serve a wider scope and offer educational opportunities for the Boise community and Treasure Valley.
